Breakfast / Afternoon refreshments

We use as many locally sourced products for our freshly cooked breakfasts - 'best butcher' sausages (subtle flavour not too strong), locally smoked salmon/trout, Scottish grown seasonal berries and Scottish cheese etc.

Many guests (see Tripadvisor) say how much they enjoyed our breakfasts. We aim to make breakfasts a real highlight. We bake all our Scottish breakfasts - only fried eggs are fried! - which is a healthier and lighter option (which guests really seem to appreciate).

Other breakfast options include:

• homemade seasonal berry compote
• homemade 'Bungalow 500 rosti' (naturally gluten free and vegetarian)
• omelettes (with choice of fillings)
• homemade smoked trout pate and toast
• homemade Scotch pancakes with seasonal fruit and greek yoghurt (popular with all ages!!)

All dietary requirements catered for. Breakfast is generally served between 8.00 and 8.45a.m. - but we have managed 5a.m. for an avid cyclist!
